Model PRC-1005 High Speed VHF Hopping Frequency Transceiver is manpack.Transceiver
The radio set can operate in high speed hopping frequency modes and free channel searching
mode, the anti-jamming system is suitable for data transmission and network establishment
application, which fully increase the anti-jamming and anti-interception capability. It has data
transmission and network establishment function, the user data rate is 1.2kbps, 2.4kbps, 4.8kbps,
9.6kbps, 19.2kbps, and 38.4kbps, the data is transmitted and utilized in network type, thus highly
increasing the transmission validity and campaign capability. It has the function of voice/data
simultaneous transmission, which increase the integrated guarantee capability for both voice and
data operation.Several sets of radio set can be operated in one vehicle based on the advanced
electro-magnetic compatible performances. Data transmission can be performed when connected
with handheld data terminal or PC.
The radio set can be used as manpack radio set in different environments by different troons. The
communication distance is about 10km under middle fluctuant terrain.
